Vice President, Marketing and Communications

The Missouri Association of REALTORS® (MAR), a large progressive statewide trade association, is seeking a dynamic professional to fill the mission critical role of Vice President, Marketing and Communications.  The successful applicant will help develop and execute an effective strategy to enhance and improve MAR’s brand, reputation, and perception among REALTORS® and other stakeholders.  In addition, the successful applicant will, as both a manager and as an individual contributor:

  • Orchestrate organization-wide communications and marketing activities across multiple channels to achieve MAR’s objectives;
  • Develop a comprehensive online strategy, including social networking and social media, using state of the art analytics; and
  • Coordinate all press/media relations

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have the following characteristics and qualifications:

  • Both strategic and creative thinking skills
  • Outstanding project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with a positive attitude
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • A demonstrated experience with a Word Press website
  • A deep understanding of public social channels, and social media management, including analytics
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing and/or communications role including brand management responsibility and at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience in developing and implementing annual and multiple year marketing plans that include ROI analysis
  • Experience working with cross functional departments, and providing effective staff management
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications and/or business
  • Experience working in a REALTOR® association or the real estate brokerage industry
  • A strong desire and work ethic to be an industry leader
