How to Give to RPAC

  1. Through dues check off
  2. At a RPAC event (e.g., auction, trivia night, golf tournament etc.)
  3. Donate to approved* members of Congress who are the subject of an event hosted by a member of the association or staff.  Credit will be given to members who attend and contribute to the event once they have given at least $15 directly to RPAC-MO.
  4. Donate to approved* Missouri Statewide Office holders or approved candidates for Missouri Statewide Office (including Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Attorney General and State Auditor). REALTOR must give $15 directly to RPAC-MO to have the donation credited.
  5. Donate to approved* members of the Missouri General Assembly or approved candidates for the Missouri General Assembly (including State Senators and State Representatives). REALTOR must give $15 directly to RPAC-MO  to have the donation credited.
  6. Donate to a local candidate, if the local candidate is a member of the Missouri Association of REALTORS® or has been endorsed or supported by the local board/association. A “local candidate” is anyone running for an office other than as a statewide elected official, member of the General Assembly, or a federal office.  REALTOR must give $25 directly to RPAC-MO to have the donation credited.
  7. Federal Political Coordinators (FPCs) who have contributed $100 or more to RPAC-MO will receive credit for contributions made to their appointed federal legislator for up to the legal maximum per election cycle.
  8. For the purposes of Sterling R Membership, recognition by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), REALTORS who wish to be Sterling Rs must make a direct contribution of $300.00 to NAR/PAF. In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $1000 in the aggregate.
  9. For the purposes of Crystal R Membership, recognition by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), REALTORS must make a one time direct contribution of $830 to NAR/PAF. In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $2,500 in the aggregate. To sustain membership, a $450 Annual Contribution to NAR/PAF must be made. In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $1,500 in the aggregate.
  10. For the purposes of Golden R Membership, recognition by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), REALTORS must make a one time direct contribution of $1,500 to NAR/PAF.  In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $5,000 in the aggregate. To sustain membership, a $600 Annual Contribution to NAR/PAF must be made. In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $2,000 in the aggregate. All members who have become a Golden R prior to 2002 need only contribute $300 to NAR/PAF to sustain membership. In addition, contributions must be made either in the form of a direct donation to a candidate (see above criteria) or to RPAC-MO to equal $1,000 in the aggregate.

*Approved candidates are those who have been supported by the RPAC-MO Trustees.

Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes.  You may contribute more or less than the amount suggested or refuse to contribute without affecting your membership rights. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state & local political candidates.  The remaining 30% is provided to National RPAC & is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a.
