All MAR members are eligible to apply to the Leadership Academy.
Tuition for the program is $2,495, of which MAR will subsidize approximately $1,300. Participants, their boards/associations, or other sponsors, will be responsible for the balance of $1,195.
Tuition covers speakers, training sessions, meals, overnight accommodations and instructional materials for all five retreats. Additional costs to the participants include transportation to and from the retreat site and other minimal expenses.
Application forms should include as much information as possible; however, answers should be limited to the space available. The application must be signed by both the applicant and the applicant’s employer (unless applicant is self-employed).
The $75 application fee will be refunded if the applicant is not admitted. If the applicant is admitted, it will be applied to the cost of tuition. The applicant’s local board/association president or AE will be asked to co-sign the application.
