Governmental Affairs
Our Governmental Affairs Department monitors, analyzes and responds to state and federal legislation that affects the way our members conduct their businesses—across the state and nationwide. The department also assists members in planning and executing local political and fundraising events for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
Education and Professional Development
MAR offers a host of opportunities to further your professional development, such as continuing education credit for re-licensure, the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), an annual Professional Standards Seminar, the MAR Leadership Academy and more!
Risk Management
MAR members have access to a variety of risk management tools, including the Legal Action Fund, the Legal Hotline, home buyer/home seller arbitration services and free, online standard real estate forms.
Communication, Information and Community Outreach
As “The Voice for Real Estate® in Missouri,” we strive to provide our members—and the citizens of our state—with the latest industry information via member communications, such as the MAR Annual Report and our biweekly online newsletter, The Voice, as well as monthly housing statistics reports and media relations efforts. We also encourage members to further their community outreach through participation in programs like the Missouri Good Neighbor Award, “It’s Your Move” and Missouri Business Week.

We understand the unique needs of our non-residential members and offer special programs, events sections and committees related to appraisal, property management and commercial interests.
