(COLUMBIA, MO.) Anne Cicero began her duties as communications director for the Missouri Association of REALTORS® Aug. 23, 2010. In this role, she will be responsible for MAR’s print and Web communications.
“Anne brings with her a unique blend of writing and design expertise that make her a natural fit for this position,” said R. Dennis McClelland, CEO and executive vice president. “We are pleased to welcome her to the MAR team, and I would encourage our members to contact her with any questions or concerns regarding our communications initiatives.”
Prior to joining MAR, Cicero served as communications coordinator for the Office of Strategic Communications at the University of Missouri System, where she was a speechwriter, editor and designer for the university president and members of the university’s executive leadership.
She also has worked as senior information specialist for the Center for Education and Development at University of Missouri Health Care; executive assistant to the dean at the University of Missouri School of Journalism; and business development assistant at the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), in Washington, D.C.
Cicero received a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Va., and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
